NLU Delhi changed the date of the AILET 2026 Exam because it clashed with another national law entrance exam date. It was originally scheduled for December 14, 2025, to be given at various test centres as a paper-based exam. The exam took place between 2 and 4 PM, giving candidates the opportunity to complete their exams within the allotted time.

AILET 2026 counselling will start shortly after the announcement of results. It will take place online for all eligible candidates who have achieved the minimum required cutoff scores. Candidates who have been shortlisted for counselling are required to register for counselling within the time frame specified so that they can be considered for course allotment. Counselling is being held in multiple rounds to ensure that candidates are admitted fairly and transparently into Law courses.

AILET 2026 results will be announced by NLU Delhi about one week after the completion of the examination on their official website.
