National Council for Hotel Management and Catering Technology Joint Entrance Examination (NCHMCT JEE) is a national-level exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). NCHMCT JEE 2026 registration process is expected to begin in December 2025, and the detailed schedule will be released along with the official notification. Candidates must apply online only through the official NTA portal. The entire application process includes registration, form filling, document upload, and online fee payment. The application fee can be paid using credit/debit card, net banking, UPI, or Paytm wallet. Candidates must submit their application form before the last date to avoid rejection. NCHMCT JEE 2026 admission card is supposed to be made available on the official website. Candidates should check the admission card for information regarding the exam date and time, most likely location, and personal details before printing the card. It will be necessary for candidates to bring the admission card and a valid ID to the exam.
Once the exam is completed, NTA publishes the provisional answer key along with response sheets. Candidates are permitted to challenge any question by paying a small objection fee for each query. NTA may announce the NCHMCT JEE Result 2026 in May 2026, but this date is subject to change, so candidates should regularly check the official website for updates. Once the announcement is made, candidates will be able to download the NCHMCT JEE 2026 scorecard via a direct link on the page. Only candidates who sat the exam will receive a scorecard which will indicate their marks, All India Rank, and whether they qualify or not.
After results are declared, NTA forwards the NCHMCT JEE 2026 score data to the National Council of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (NCHMCT), which conducts counselling and seat allotment for eligible candidates. Candidates will be able to check the NCHMCT JEE 2026 result by logging in with their application number and date of birth.
NCHMCT JEE 2026 counselling registration will be completed online and held through the official website. The seat allocation will depend on the exam rank, the category of the candidate, and the choice of institutes. The complete counselling process is done online and includes the following steps: registration, choice filling and locking, seat allocation, fee payment and document verification for admission. To get admission at any participating college, a student must register for the counselling process during the designated time.

27 IHMs under the State Government
1 Institute under a Public Sector Undertaking (PSU)
29 Private IHMs
Candidates can register for counseling of NCHMCT JEE 2026 by following the steps mentioned below:
Registration will be carried out online on the official counseling portal.
Select and lock preferred institutes & courses in online mode.
Seats would be allotted based on the rank, category and choices submitted by the candidates.
Candidates must report to the respective institute post allotment through online/offline mode as directed.
To retain the allocated seat, the application fee needs to be paid.
Candidates may withdraw the seat if required as per the guidelines.
After round 1 of the counseling process, and if there are any vacant seats left, a spot round may be conducted only for those seats.
The cut-off represents the final rank at which admission closes at each participating institute. The official cut-offs will be released after each round of counselling.
