The single-session entrance test will be a Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) paper with a duration of 2 hours. It covers sections like:

• Deadline (Registration): The last date for submission of information to generate the Login and Password is March 28, 2026.

• Deadline (Application Fee): March 31, 2026, is the last date to deposit the non-refundable Application Fee online.

• Deadline (Form Completion): Candidates must upload the photograph, signature, and complete all required information by April 2, 2026.

Hard Copy Submission

• Submission Deadline: The final date for receipt of hard copy printout of filled Application Form along with the required documents at UIAMS office is April 10, 2026 (up to 4:00 PM).

PU MET 2026 Admit Card Release

• Admit Card Download: PU MET 2026 Admit Card will be available for download on the Internet probably by April 7, 2026.

PU MET 2026 Examination

• Exam Date: PU MET 2026 examination will take place only on April 12, 2026 (Sunday). 

• Sessions: There is a single 2 hour (120 minutes) session in the PU MET examination and consists of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) with Negative Marking. 

Answer Key & Objection Window

• Release of answer key: PU MET Answer Key expected will be released online tentatively in the month of April 2026, after the examination.

• Objection Window: The candidates will be able to submit challenges or raise objections against the answer key through an online portal during an objection window in April 2026.

PU MET 2026 Result & Subsequent Rounds

• Publication of Results: PU MET 2026 results will be declared some time around May, 2026. 

• Scorecard: This result will serve as the basis for further selection of candidates. 

• GD/PI Schedule: The necessary dates for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview (composed of about 15 percent weightage together) will be communicated later on the UIAMS website.

• Reporting Time: Candidates should reach the PU MET exam center at least one hour prior to the specified time for the commencement of the exam as mentioned in the Admit Card. No candidate reporting 15 minutes after the examination starts will be allowed to sit for the examination.

• Mask/Sanitizer: Candidates are allowed to carry a mask and a transparent small bottle of hand sanitizer (50 ml) among other safety measures in general.

Exam Hall Procedure

• Answering: Since PU MET 2026 will be conducted in an offline (PPT) mode, answers will have to be marked on the OMR Answer Sheet. The candidates should only use a Black Ball Point Pen or a Black Gel Pen to mark the correct bubbles.

• Rough Work: Candidates should not bring any paper for rough work. Any rough work needs to be done in the space provided in the Question Booklet.

• Leaving the Hall: The candidate should not leave the exam hall/room before the exam is over (2 hours). 

• Roll Number: Write the Roll Number on the OMR Answer Sheet and the Question Booklet exactly as given in the PU MET 2026 Admit Card and only at the space provided.

Prohibited Items and Conduct

• Banned Devices: No electronic devices or telecommunication equipment are allowed. This includes mobile phones, pagers, smartwatches, wireless sets, calculators, and cameras. Possession of any such item will result in instant disqualification.

• Stationery: Only A Black/Blue Ball Pen and a transparent water bottle are generally allowed. Candidates must get all stationery on their own.

• Conduct: Unruly behavior, seat transferring, chatting, copying, or ignoring the instructions of the invigilators shall result in expulsion from the Entrance Test.
