CSIR NET Exam Date 2025: City Slip (Out) & Admit Card Released

CSIR NET Date 2025: National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the CSIR NET Exam of December, 2025 will take place on 18th December, 2025, and that the admit card for this exam will be released shortly before this date. Students who wish to register for CSIR NET may have done so from the time of registration 25th September until the last date to submit applications 27th October. The fee payment deadline was October 28, while the application correction window was open from October 30 to November 1, 2025.

The CSIR NET is conducted by the NTA, ECSIR and UGC NET twice a year (in June and December) and is conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format.

Step 4: Once logged in, the candidate's hall ticket will appear on the screen

Step 5: The candidate must then print out his/her hall ticket as proof for future reference.

• Application Form: Applicants must complete the online application form and pay the required fee when applying alongside the release of the notification.

• Admit Card: The admit card will be available to download from the CSIR NET website once registered with their credentials.

• Exam: CSIR NET exam will take place in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format for all applicants wishing to apply for a Lectureship/Assistant Professor as well as for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF)

• Answer Key: The provisional answer key, along with question papers and recorded responses, is released after the exam. Candidates can submit objections within the specified time.

• Result: CSIR NET December 2025 result is declared online. Qualified candidates are issued eligibility certificates by the National Testing Agency in due course.
