IBSAT (ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test) is a national-level entrance exam for management, which is conducted every year by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) in India. The exam is conducted for admission into the MBA and PGPM programmes offered by ICFAI Business Schools (IBS) in India. IBSAT exam tests students' analytical ability, vocabulary, quantitative aptitude, reading comprehension and data interpretation.
IBSAT is a computer-based exam that consists of multiple-choice questions and has no negative marking, making it very student-friendly. The exam score is accepted by 9 IBS campuses, including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune, Gurgaon, and Bengaluru, along with GD and PI for final selections.

IBS has started the IBSAT 2025 slot booking process and released the admit card. Candidates who have registered can download their IBSAT admit card after selecting their preferred exam slot.
Slot booking is mandatory before accessing the hall ticket. Once the slot is successfully chosen and confirmed, the IBSAT 2025 admit card becomes available online. The slot booking link is now active on the official portal at general.ibsindia.org.
Before applying, applicants must confirm whether they meet IBSAT eligibility standards regarding educational qualification, medium of instruction, and documentation. Final-year graduation students may also apply, provided they complete degree requirements within the accepted timelines mentioned in the official notification.

IBS does not provide a comprehensive official syllabus for IBSAT 2025. But, the exam pattern is similar to other MBA entrance exams i.e., CAT, and therefore the way of preparation would also be somewhat similar.

IBSAT applicants must submit the online form through the official portal by completing registration, filling in academic details, uploading documents, and paying the application fee. The process is user-friendly and requires candidates to keep their academic and identity documents ready for submission. Check below the step-by-step IBSAT application process:

Step 6: Save printed confirmation
IBSAT result is published online on the official portal after the exam. The IBSAT 2025 results are expected to be announced in the first week of January 2026. To download the scorecard, candidates need to log in using their application number and password. Based on their performance, applicants will be shortlisted for further admission stages, including the Personal Interview (PI) and Micro Presentation.
Shortlisted students must attend the PI and Micro Presentation at IBS Hyderabad on the assigned dates. During these rounds, candidates are assessed on their communication abilities, confidence, leadership potential, positive attitude, and negotiation skills.
IBSAT 2025 cutoffs will be issued after the declaration of results. Candidates will be chosen based on the cutoff criteria. Minimum and cutoff scores will be developed for each of the IBS campuses, including Hyderabad, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Gurugram, Jaipur, Dehradun, Kolkata, and Ahmedabad. Only those candidates who clear the cutoffs specific to the campuses will be included in the shortlist for PI and Micro Presentation rounds.
