IBSAT Result 2025 (Released): Scorecard Download, Merit List, and Cutoff

IBSAT results 2025 are expected to be announced by the ICFAI Business School (IBS) Hyderabad in the first week of January 2026. • 75%+ Percentile: Mandatory for a good chance at the Top-tier IBS campuses, especially IBS Hyderabad and IBS Mumbai.

• 65% - 75% Percentile: Opens doors to very good campuses, including IBS Bengaluru, IBS Gurgaon, and IBS Pune.

• Below 60% Percentile: Accepted by the remaining IBS campuses. It offers a good opportunity to enter the IBS network.

IBSAT Exam 2025 is the initial step; the final MBA Admission is determined by a holistic evaluation conducted centrally by IBS Hyderabad for all nine campuses. There is no separate campus-wise application or counselling process.

Phase 1: Score Shortlisting & Briefing

• IBSAT Score Release: The IBSAT 2025 is released online in the first week of January 2026.

• Alternative Scores: Candidates can also be shortlisted based on valid CAT, GMAT, NMAT, or XAT scores.

• Selection Briefing: Shortlisted candidates are invited to a Selection Briefing conducted in over 70 cities in January 2026 to prepare them for the final rounds.

• Shortlisting Criteria: Shortlisting is done based on the candidate's IBSAT Percentile (or equivalent scores) meeting the campus-specific cutoff.

Phase 2: Final Assessment Rounds (Selection Process)

Candidates who meet the cutoff attend the final selection stages, typically held in February 2026 at the IBS Hyderabad campus (for most applicants). This phase is crucial for the final merit list.

The rounds include:

1. Micro Presentation (MP): (Replaced Group Discussion) Candidates choose one of two topics and present for 3 minutes after 1 minute of preparation. This tests communication and structured thinking.

2. Personal Interview (PI): A one-on-one interaction to evaluate confidence, subject knowledge, business aptitude, and overall personality.

Phase 3: Final Merit List Compilation
