The NTA has completed the NTA JEE Main session 2 registration on 26 February, 2026.
The NTA has announced the JEE Main Result for Session 1 online on the official website.
NTA has officially shifted the release of the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 scorecard to February 16, 2026.
The application window for the April attempt is open. The last date to complete the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 registration is February 25, 2026 (up to 09:00 PM).
Over 13 lakh candidates appeared for the BE/BTech (Paper 1) exams held in January.
IIT Roorkee has confirmed that the JEE Advanced 2026 will be held on May 17, 2026. Only the top 2.5 lakh qualifiers from JEE Main will be eligible to apply.
The National Testing Agency has completed the IIT JEE Main registrations 2026 online. The JEE Main online registrations were available from 02 to 25 February, 2026. The candidates who have not score good marks in the IIT JEE Main 2026 session 1 were also eligible to apply for the examination. The IIT JEE Main session 2 exam is scheduled for April 2 to April 9, 2026. The candidates who successfully qualify for the IIT JEE Main session 2 will become eligible for admission to IIITs, NITs and other engineering colleges.

JEE Main 2026 application process is conducted entirely online on the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in. In order to submit the application form successfully, the candidates will have to fill in personal and education details. To fill out and submit the JEE Main session 2 application form accurately, follow the steps outlined below:
Step 1: Visit the official website ( jaemain.nta.nic.in)
Step 2: Click on New Candidate Registration
Step 3: Fill in the basic details, which include name, parents' names, email ID, mobile number, and address on JEE Main Session 2 form
Step 4: Complete the registration process and then log in to fill in the application form
Step 5: Fill in the educational details (Class 10 & 12), the category, the choice of papers (B.Tech / B.Arch / B.Plan), and the choice of cities for examination
Step 6: Upload scanned images (photo, signature, and the Class 10 certificate) on JEE Main session 2 registration portal
Step 7: Upload category certificates (if applicable) - SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD
Step 8: Pay the JEE Main Session 2 application fee using debit/credit card/UPI/net banking
Step 9: Submit the application form and download the acknowledgement slip which was sent via email/SMS.
NOTE: The application form is only submitted officially to the NTA process after payment has been paid.

The form will automatically be submitted upon completion of payment. Candidates will receive an acknowledgment slip via email and SMS. Candidates will need to download and retain a copy of the application form and the payment receipt for their records.
After the submission of the NTA application form, there is a window that allows candidates to change things in their form. Only certain fields can be edited after the submission of the application form, and you cannot change things after this window closes, including changes to your photo or signature. NTA has released the JEE Main Result 2026 on its official website on February 16, 2026. Candidates can use their login details to download and check their NTA JEE Main scorecard PDF 2026. The scorecard contains the student's normalized percentile scores in Physics, Chemistry, Math, as well as the overall percentile. Candidates will be able to download their scorecard from the official website of JEE Main. Along with the result, JEE Main cutoff percentile and toppers list has also announced. All candidates who earn a score that is above the JEE Main cutoff will be forwarded to JEE Advanced.

National Testing Agency has released the JEE Main result 2026 . Earlier, the exam result was expected to be announced on February 12, 2026. However, now, the JEE Main exam result 2026 out on February 16, 2026. The agency has not specified any reason for this as of now.

After the NTA JEE Main 2026 session result is out, which includes AIR and final percentile score calculated after considering performance in January and April session. Based on the JEE final result, cadidates will have two option to choose from:

JEE paper was easy to moderate in difficulty level with Physics and Maths in difficult side and Chemistry on the easier side.

National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the official JEE Main 2026 Exam Pattern for all three papers i.e, Paper 1 (BTech), Paper 2A (BArch), and Paper 2B (BPlan). JEE Main will be held in online (CBT) format, except for the drawing portion of BArch, which will continue to be done offline (pen and paper). Each paper will have a total exam time of 3 hours. NTA will publish the JEE Main 2026 admit card approximately 2 days ahead of the exam on the official website. Candidates can download it by logging in through the application number and password/date of birth.
JEE Main admit card will provide information like your name, roll number, the centre and time of the exam, and important instructions. Make sure to check all details carefully and contact NTA if anything is wrong.
Candidates must bring a colour printout of the admit card and a valid photo ID along with a passport-sized photo (same as the application form) to the exam centre.

A few days before the admit card, the National Testing Agency (NTA) publishes the JEE Main Exam City Intimation Slip. The slip gives candidates important information about their exam date and the city their test center is located in. Candidates are able to download the city intimation slip from the official JEE Main website using their application number and date of birth.
The city intimation slip should be noted however, that it is not the admit card. The admit card is subsequently published after a few days.

National Testing Agency NTA published the JEE Main answer key 2026 on February 4. Candidates can download their response sheet and question paper at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates must log in using their application number and date of birth. The objection window remains open until February 6 2026. The event will conclude at 11 50 PM tonight. Students must pay ₹200 per question challenged during this period. NTA experts will review all valid objections before the final result. The JEE Main result 2026 is expected by February 16.

Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) is in charge of the centralised counselling process for the aspirants qualifying JEE Main or JEE Advanced. JoSAA helps in admission into 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and 38 GFTIs. The IITs accept JEE Advanced ranks for admission and JEE Main ranks for NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs.
