JEE Main Admit Card 2026, Release Date, Download Steps

National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to release the JEE Main 2026 Session 2 Admit Card soon on its official website. As per the official schedule, JEE Main Session 2 will be conducted from 02 April to 09 April 2026. Once available, candidates will be able to download their JEE Main 2026 Session 2 hall ticket by logging in with their application number and password at the official portal. It is mandatory to carry a printed copy of the admit card along with a valid photo ID to the examination centre. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website for the latest updates regarding the release date.

JEE Mains 2026 brochure was released online in October 2025 online. The online application form was active from 31 October 2025 to 27 November 2025. Know the complete timeline of the important dates in the table below.

NTA releases the JEE Main exam city slip to inform candidates about the city where their exam centre is located. This helps students plan their travel and make necessary arrangements in advance. The admit card is issued only after the city slip is released. For JEE Main 2026, the exam city intimation slip is expected to be available around one week before the exam. Candidates can download it by logging in to the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in.

JEE Main admit card 2026 is expected to be released soon online. As of now, there is no announcement regarding the release of the same. However, it will be released atleast 10 to 15 days before the exam. Go through the section below to know about the download steps. 

• Visit the official JEE Main 2026 website.

• Click on the link that says “JEE Main Admit Card Download.”

• Log in by entering your application number and password or date of birth.

• After logging in, the admit card download link will appear on the screen.

• Click on the link to download the admit card and take a printout for exam use.

• Candidates must not wear clothing that contains any metallic items.

• Caps, mufflers, or any cloth covering the head are not allowed.

• Wearing jewellery or ornaments of any kind is strictly prohibited.

• Items such as goggles, rings, bracelets, or similar accessories must not be worn.

NTA allows diabetic candidates carry eatables or certain drinks, considering their health conditions. Diabetic students can carry the following things inside the examination hall

• Fruits

• Sugar tablets

• Transparent water bottle having juice

• Pencil/Geometry Box or any other stationery

• Handbag

• Purse

• Any kind of paper or printed material

The authorities will not send the JEE Main 2026 admit card by post. Candidates have to download it online from the official website online. Here are few download problems that one can face once the download link is active. 

Server IssuesThe candidates should wait and try downloading the admit card after some time if the JEE Main website is not loading or is running slowly.

Forgot Password:
Candidates can download their admit card using their date of birth if they do not remember their password. The option to reset the password is also available on the “Forgot My Password” section.

Forgot Application Number:
The agency provides the application number in the confirmation email sent to their registered email ID.
