MHT CET Exam Pattern 2026

  • The MHT CET examination will be in online mode

  • The Maharashtra CET exam will be of 1 hour and 30 minutes duration

  • There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers marked in the exam

  • The level of the questions asked will be at par with the JEE Main and NEET UG examinations

  • Each question will be multiple choice based, and it will have five options for each question

PCM Exam Pattern
  • Total number of questions- 200 ( 100 from Biology and 50 each from Physics and Chemistry)
  • Marks per question-  1 mark per question in Biology and 2 mark per question in Physics and Chemistry
  • Negative marking- No negative marking
  • Duration of exam- 3 hours

 PCB Exam Pattern
  • Total number of questions- 150 ( 50 each from Physics, Chemistry, and Maths)
  • Marks per question-  2 marks per question in Maths and 1 mark per question in Physics and Chemistry
  • Negative marking- No negative marking
  • Duration of exam- 3 hours
