Punjab School Education Board has officially released the PSEB 12th syllabus 2026 and marking scheme for the 2025-26 academic session, outlining essential schedules for all streams. According to the PSEB board, practical exams are set to occur from February 2 to February 12, 2026, while the theory examinations will run from February 17 to April 4, 2026. All theory papers will be held during a single morning shift from 11:00 AM to 2:15 PM. Students have the ability to download both the complete Punjab Board 12th syllabus 2025-26 PDF and the official PSEB Class 12th date sheet 2026 through the official website pseb.ac.in.
PSEB syllabus for 12th class students in 2026 provides educational content that enables students to study multiple subjects. Students need to complete seven subjects which include four mandatory subjects and three optional subjects that depend on their selected stream.
Regardless of the stream chosen, students must pass the following subjects:
General English
General Punjabi or Punjab History and Culture
Environmental Education
Computer Science
Note: Environmental Education and Computer Science exams are generally conducted at the school level.

Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) has updated the Class 12 syllabus for the 2025-26 academic session. Students across Science, Commerce, and Arts streams can now access chapter-wise topics and marking schemes on the official website, pseb.ac.in.
The board has introduced a revised exam pattern. Objective questions now comprise 25% of the paper. Furthermore, 25% of questions will now come from within the chapters, not just back-exercises.
Focuses on intensive literature study, functional grammar, and professional writing skills.

In-Depth Questions: Prepare for 25% of questions coming from middle-of-the-chapter paragraphs.
Difficulty Shift: The ratio of difficult questions has increased to 30% to align with NEP 2020.
Step-wise Marking: For Accountancy, marks are awarded for each correct step in numerical problems.
